MELBOURNE, Feb 28 AAP - Melbourne's newly-elected Anglican archbishop today vowed to
maintain pressure on the Prime Minister to say sorry to indigenous people over past injustices.

Archbishop-elect Peter Watson said he couldn't understand why reconciliation with Australia's
indigenous people still wasn't happening, with the nation looking to Prime Minister John
Howard to take the lead in saying sorry.
