Two Columbia High School students have been named National Merit Scholarship finalists.
James O'Leary and Ethan Roland, seniors at the school in the East Greenbush Central Schools District, have qualified as National Merit Scholarship finalists. This is a distinction that places them in a group representing about one-half of 1 percent of high school graduating seniors nationwide.
O'Leary lives in the town of Nassau with his parents, Joanne and Michael. After graduation, he will be attending Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. He is a member of Columbia High School's National Honor Society, participated in drama and musicals, Model Congress, Amnesty …
